Planning Approved; Mixed-use Development Kettering

This town centre scheme has recently received planning approved. The proposed scheme comprises a new restaurant at ground floor addressing the market square with a new corner building becoming a focal point. 29 residential units are proposed in a mixture of new build and converted historic buildings replacing the existing vacant hotel.

The proposals allow the enhancement of the town centre area through the conversion and sensitive redevelopment of the building and site.

A palette of materials will be used to match the existing context including brick, ironstone and pitched slate roofs, but utilised in a more contemporary manner. The new elements are sensitively detailed with vertical emphasis to the building and window proportions.
