Winchester Place, Highgate
The project comprises two new semi-detached family homes in Highgate. The high quality palette of materials and the form of the houses were carefully designed to complement the existing neighbouring houses on Winchester Place, but with a contemporary approach.
The development introduces a coherent and legible form that provides an end to the street and enhances the overall setting of the Highgate Conservation Area. The houses are also bounded by the sports courts to Channing School.
The materials and form complement the existing houses on Winchester Place, through the use of red bricks, the continuation of the semi-detached form and the use of the projecting stone bays.
Each of the houses is spacious with a basement level with lightwells to the front and rear directly connected to the gardens.
The spacious 4 bedroom houses are finished to a high standard of detail, perfect for a large family in London. Each h0use includes a cinema room, feature double-height dining space with gallery above and a balcony opening onto the master bedroom.
