Development of 3 courtyard houses in Islington, London.
A series of three unusual split level homes inserted between a church and existing terrace housing on the site of a former warehouse. Due to the enclosed nature the architecture is introverted and designed around a series of tranquil landscaped garden courts with a series of external amenity spaces at different levels. As with the majority of our schemes careful consultation with the Church and local residents was carried out during the design development stage with the proposals receiving their support. The scheme received planning approval and is under construction.
