Planning Approved; High Road, Tottenham

Planning approval and listed building consent has recently been achieved on this interesting site on the busy High Road in Tottenham. The project entails the sensitive restoration and conversion of the existing listed building on site to provide two residential apartments, and the erection of a new three storey building to the rear of the site to provide a further six apartments. The existing building on site is Grade II Listed and forms part of an urban block of a predominantly Georgian terrace to the South. The design of the new building has been carefully considered to be subordinate and set back from the listed building and with simple orthogonal geometry, proportions and rhythms to complement the immediate context.
